TUIKAI operates it's own farm, processing factory and off-shore export distribution business.
Our farming guidelines are:
- Employ best practice technology - planting bed development and maintenance protocols, soil and crop management, mechanisation of farming processes (planting, weeding and fertilising, harvesting)
- Use wherever possible ‘circular economy’ and sustainable farming methods
- Organic farming approaches to fertiliser, pest and weed control
- Modern farm management software and systems
- Develop a thriving network of partner out-growers on 'Fair Trade' principles
The vision for our processing factory is -
- HACCP and ISO standards approved facilities using renewable energy
- World-class infrastructure, optimal mechanisation of processing lines and workflows, waste recycling & reticulation
- Development of branded high quality basic and value-added export products
- High level of employee training and food processing skills development
Certifications
All TUIKAI products are grown, processed and packed in Fiji, earning TUIKAI the Fijian Grown / Packed / Product certifications. Our processing factory is Biosecurity Authority of Fiji approved and certified for export.
Our future certification goals include: ISO9000 (farming processes), HACCP (processing factory), Fijian Organic (farming methods), Fair Trade (out-grower network commercial relationships), and Carbon Zero (formalising carbon credits for TUIKAI's farm's 900+ acre forest reserve) certifications.
